About Me

From the very start of my life, my liking for Maths was known to the people around me and while people only took notice of it, my grandfather built my foundation and my mom worked, for me to at a higher level compared to my batchmates.

As the time passed by I showed my mathematician genes in much prominent manner and yet I made an astounding decision of pursuing pre medical studies. I still do not know what overcame me but two years later I was back on track eventually realizing Maths is where I belong.

I completed my Bachelors soon, during those years I never knew what career could I pursue with a Maths major but that didn’t stop me from enrolling in Masters. My experiences during my Masters were eye-opening. I had finally found just how many career opportunities were there for a Maths major. I won’t lie, all of them were equally tempting to me so when we were asked to choose our sub-field, I was overwhelmed. After quite many research, survey and advices I had opted for Algebra and Software Engineering. This is when I had found my innermost zeal for cryptography; finding fun in encrypting and decrypting whereas everyone were struggling.

One time, we were assigned to present a presentation on any one application of Maths and of course I decided to tell them about cryptography and from what I’ve been told quite many students went on to choose for Algebra because they found cryptography fun.

My gusto for codes hasn’t died yet so for me to stay in touch with advancements in this field, I have decided to dedicate this blog of mine to it. Additionally, it also answers the question that people tend to ask me,

Why study Maths when, only basics is what comes handy?

I hope you guys enjoy my blog and if you want me to write on any specific topic related to cryptography, please do tell me in the comments or go to “Request a Post“.

Adios!
